A bit more about us...
"Peer Resource is such a great class because we get a chance to connect with Tam on a deeper level and help our peers with things like mental wellness and awareness around issues like smart alcohol use. It is a very rewarding experience to be surrounded by people in this class who share the same interest for helping out the Tam community as you do. -Juweria, Senior
What is peer resource?
Peer resource is program at Tam that educates the school about drugs/alcohol, sexual health, and mental health. We work to normalize these subjects and break down stigmas around issues such as depression and drug addictions. The class is composed of sophomores, juniors, and seniors at Tam.
What do we do?
Students in the class work to give support to fellow peers and hold events such as carnivals, campaigns, and workshops to bring awareness to health and wellness issues that are prevalent here. Check our EVENTS page for more information.
